Common questions

Where is my data stored?

On your device and in your own private iCloud account. dealt has no servers of its own, so your tasks, notes, and photos stay with you. See the Privacy Policy for details.

My tasks aren’t syncing to my other device or my watch.

Make sure both devices are signed into the same iCloud account with iCloud Drive enabled, and connected to the internet. Fresh sync can take several minutes. If the watch shows nothing, confirm your Apple ID appears in the Watch’s Settings; if not, restart both devices.

How do I delete all my data?

Settings → Data & Export → Delete All Data. This erases your tasks, history, photos, profile, and categories from the device and your iCloud, and removes you from / deletes your groups.

How do shared groups work and who can see my data?

When you create or join a group, its tasks, completions, comments, and messages, plus your group display name and optional photo, are shared with the other members through Apple’s iCloud. New members can see the group’s full history. Only share groups with people you trust. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Manage or cancel from your iPhone: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions.

I blocked someone but still see their old notifications.

Blocking hides a member’s future content and notifications. Notifications already delivered to your device can’t be recalled by iOS, but you won’t receive new ones from a blocked member.
